2013 Fashion Trends – My Favourites

Spring is finally here!

That glorious time of year when we welcome back our beloved colours, bold patterns, and those flirty, feminine shapes.

Spring Fashion 2013 did not disappoint. In fact, it gave us everything we needed (conveniently also everything I happen to love).

Here are my top 3 favourites…

1) Peek-A-Boo Dresses

This sexy, modern style may look intimidating, but don’t be fooled by its seductive nature. This style can actually be incredibly flattering.

These midriff bearing separates, thigh-high splits and semi-revealing cut-outs are great options – allowing you to choose how much skin you reveal.

With the right shape and with strategically placed cut-outs, this trend can work for virtually every body type (a feature us curvaceous babes appreciate).

2) Luxurious Leather

Ah, leather… Always sexy, always classy and always appropriate. I love when fashion trends play into my personal favourites.

Leather

This year we are given beautiful rich colours, classic shapes and bold statement pieces – all in leather! This luxurious fabric works with your body shape and adds a certain rock-star element.

Try a leather pencil skirt for your nextΒ office-to-cocktail ready outfit.

3) Short Suits

This is another perfect example of fashion trends playing perfectly into my no-fuss sense of style. Short suits! Why didn’t I think of this earlier?!

With the bold colours and eccentric patterns, this are not your grandmother’s short suit.

Pair your patterned short suit with a neutral top to really let the suit do the talking. And don’t forget some kick-ass shoes.
